For this month's theme, KORAFF was thrilled to celebrate Family Month with a heartwarming Community Gathering. 🌼👨👩👧👦 We had a day filled with activities that strengthen the bonds of community and family.
April 2024 — Korean Cooking Class
Families joined us for a delicious journey as we dove into the art of making kimbap (김밥) and tteokbokki (떢볶이). Whether you're a seasoned chef or a curious novice, this event promised a hands-on experience that will tantalize your taste buds and enrich your cooking skills.
March 2024 — Easter Event
We celebrated Easter with a vibrant and joyful event filled with activities that brought tradition and fun. Attendees enjoyed a variety of engaging activities such as egg hunting, making Easter baskets
February 2024 — Valentine’s Event
We hosted a Valentine's event featuring heart-shaped pillow making, learning Valentine Korean words, and playing traditional games like ttakji, alongside a fun nod to the popular culture with a Dalgona game inspired by Squid Games.
January 2024 — New Year’s Event
We explored the captivating experience of Korean’s New Year with traditional Korean games and immersed ourselves in the colorful tapestry of Hanbok
December 2023 — Christmas Event
Our dedicated volunteers performed live music, filling the air with festive melodies and cheer. We had a chance to meet Santa Claus himself, a delightful opportunity for both the young and young-at-heart.
November 2023 — Thanksgiving Event
We explored the captivating world of K-pop and created crafts related to Korea folk art. We had an unforgettable day full of experiences centered around Korean culture. From learning Korean language, practicing Taekwondo skills, and the beats of traditional Korean drums.
October 2023 — Chuseok Event
This special occasion is a time for feasting on delicious traditional dishes, enjoying lively games, and paying respects to ancestors. We tried different traditional Korean foods made by the parents of the volunteers and played traditional games: kite flying, Jegichagi, and Tuho.
Sept 2023 — Back To School BBQ
We had fun at this event, we played tug of war, soccer, badminton and we got to eat delicious Korean BBQ grilled by the volunteers’ dads

Celebration of Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving. Traditional Korean games including jegichagi, kite flying, yut nori, archery, and more were played celebrating this holiday with new families and volunteers.
